I am a retired school teacher originally from Staffordshire which is in the West Midlands of England. During my childhood much of my family travelling was limited to the North Wales caravan resorts of Rhyl and Abergele and the annual pilgrimage to the North West beach resort of Blackpool to view the nationally famous Illuminations in the late autumn.
In my early twenties I began travelling a little wider spending some of my time grape picking around Perpignan and working as a volunteer rebuilding a 16th century castle in Austria. I took my first flight at the age of thirty, a short hop across the English Channel to Paris from London.
Like many of my age I now have the time to travel a lot more and share my experiences with a much wider audience
Since starting my travel blog I have worked with many companies, restaurants and show events – here is a sample;
Captain Cook Cruises, BridgeClimb, The Rocks Walking Tours, The Canopy Restaurant, Taronga Zoo, Opera House, Sydney, Australia
